About TBIO
Taiwan Bio Industry Organization (TBIO) was established in 1989, which is the largest and most influential non-profit biotech organization in Taiwan. TBIO represents over 90 team members and 300 individual members, ranging from private companies and academic institutes to government bodies involved in the research and development for innovative healthcare, pharmaceutical, agricultural and environmental biotechnology. We are a strong arm to foster the development of biotechnology in Taiwan.
Our mission is to provide advocacy, business development and communication services for our members. TIBO organize the annual BIO Taiwan Exhibition, the largest gathering of biotechnology industry in Taiwan. BioTaiwan has attracted at least 1200 exhibitors, 250,000 visitors over the last 4 years, it has become one of the largest event for the biotech industry in Asia. A series of high-level seminars and conferences are held in parallel with the exhibition provide a platform for the biotech industry to present the latest trends and explore new marketing opportunities.
